Dear August

Dear August,
You are already seem to be flying by. We are approaching your second week, slow down please. I'm not quite sure if I'm ready for the changes that are coming with you at the end of this month. I know for sure that I am not ready to give away my money for the tuition that is due in the next few days. Uggghh. You're going to leave me broke August. But I guess that's okay because I'm learning how to spend and save more wisely than ever before.
I guess the happy thing about you leaving so soon is it can only mean that the cooler months would be slowly slowly slowly approaching.
I miss sitting out on my patio drinking a honey latte around 4 pm. I tried doing it last month, I only lasted 10 minutes before I had to go back inside because I almost had a heat stroke. So my iced lattes will have to do for now...okay, that's perfectly fine with me.
I still have a few more days of you left, so I'll just have to make the most of it and get ready for your last week. Maybe I'll watch August Rush in honor of you. I love that movie.

  4. This month IS flying by! The end of August holds a huge change for me, career wise, I'm both excited and a little terrified! I am looking forward to hearing about your transition to university. College was one of the most rewarding times in my life and I hope that experience for you too :)
